John Boeck and Wife

The picture at left (in my possession) appears to be a page ripped out of a document of some kind. Written on the back of that page is:

"Grandpa & Grandma Boeck. Died in Germany. They were war Resisters. They died when Aunt Maimmie was 12 years old."

The only "Mammie" I know of in our ancestry is Mammie Boeck. daughter of George Boeck and Theresa (Juelg) Boeck. Mammie was born on 31 Mar 1875 which means that Aunt Mammie would have been twelve years old in 1887. That provides us with the year of death for John Boeck and his wife. (If any of you know her name and other information, please let me know!!)

As to who this page was originally given to, the inscription on the back refers to "Aunt Mammie". Since "Aunt Mammie" had eight siblings whose children would have known her as "Aunt Mammie" it is difficult to track down. If any of you know, again, I would be interested to know as well.
